Beer is disgusting in my opinion! I do drink though and I love a little Hennessey and cola, or Henny and Hypnotic mix, straight Hypnotic, ah and a good one that'll get ya leanin' in Texas is Hyp, Henny, and a lil' cough syrup! lol! I got that drank, got that drank, that purple drank! lol!

I like Sam Adams Octoberfest. Really Good Taste. The 1st Time I had it was at my dad's Masonic Lodge. The have a Oktoberfest with all kinds of German foods. I liked it so my dad gets some every now and ten. I also like Reg Sam Adams as well as Bud and Bud Lite. Now for the Bud Lite and Bud. I used to work at a bar and I used to play darts and used to drink Bud or Bud Lite

Oh my God, my new favorite forum!

I'm currently in the middle of an amazing beer I tried for the first time a day or two ago.  If you like a strong, full flavored, hoppy beer then I highly recommend Einbecker Ur Bock.  It's a German import (also from the oldest brewery in Germany), and has a full hoppy flavor that falls just short of a Pale Ale.  My favorite wheat beer by far has to be Hoegaarden which I have heard from people that study this more than me is the standard for traditional Belgian style wheat beers.  IMO, they're right.  If you are on the east coast, find a beer called Alagash Musette(sp?) if it's still in season.  You'll pay a pretty price for it (I gave up $30 for a 750mL bottle in DC) but it's amazing.  Also, the Irishman has come out of me a lot here lately, and I've drained a lot of Guinness Extra Stout's during my late night trying to find the end of the internet missions.  Sam Adams Boston Lager isn't bad for a cheaper beer, but again very hoppy just as their commercial promised.  I'll also throw a quick endorsement to Saranac, and say if you can find their Winter 12 pack, you will find there are a few interesting beers out there you should give a shot (i.e. a Chocolate Stout and Caramel Porter.)

O, I could go on all night, but my beer glass is empty... guess I'll go fill 'er up!

I'm a whiskey drinker. If I drink beer it's usually Bud, Bud Light, Coors Light or Lakeport Light.

My favourite whiskey is Canadian Club, and good cheaper alternative is Alberta Premium. I've experimented with the non-premium brands available here in Canada and I have found that Alberta Premium is the closest to CC.

I don't drink often but when I do it MGD.  No reason behind it except that it's what I've always had.  Living this close to Milwaukee does help a bit I guess.

I'm a whiskey drinker.

I perfer Whiskey or hard stuff more than beer myself also.  Its just the effects are usually faster with the hard stuff.  And I rarely have a hang over when I drink the heavy stuff.

I always do the shot or two (or substitute a drink) of hard liquor before beer and your in the clear. I have only woke up with a hangover twice. I prefer captain and coke's or just straigh captain. Jagerbombs or straight jager is good too. I'll pretty much drink anything except tequlia, gin, and whiskey, or beers that are really cheap or super hoppy.

Oh and I drink plenty. Me and my friend downed an entire handle(I think 1 gallon) or captain in about 2 hours and then I had about 8 miller lites after that. No hangover in the morning. Just drink lots of water before going to bed and then when you wake up in the morning (and pop some pain reliever too in the morning that is).

Ya, I'm a little whiskey girl. I will drink whatever you give me usually, but I'm not a big rum fan, unless it's spiced. If I had all the choice in the world for drinks, it would be a double (or triple...I like to taste it LOL) with ginger ale. If I'm out at the bar I might drink beer just for the fact that they never make a drink like I want, and it only lasts about 5 minutes with the size of them. I'm lucky enough to NOT be one of those people that turns into a mouthy little bugger when they drink rye. I know so many people that have to stay away from rye because they turn into jerks!

Hear, hear. I get FULL on beer, too, because of all the carbonation. Rye just goes down better.

I have to agree with lennyblazer. Jagerbombs. The last time I drank Jager straight I was so sick for 3 days. I don't touch straight Jager Anymore. I'll pretty much drink anything except tequlia. Hate tequlia

Well...being in college and what not...I would say the quantity is much more frequently the deciding factor (read: price) than the quality.

So the food lion right up the road usually runs 24-packs of Busch Light for 9.99...usually what I drink.  If I go classy, it's Bud Select though
